Throwing up while brushing teeth?

I had really bad morning sickness during the first trimester but now the only time I ever throw up is when I brush my teeth in the morning. I do it before I even eat breakfast so I have been throwing up stomach bile. 
Does this happen to anyone else? How can I prevent it?

This has happened with me both pregnancys. Things that help: kid or toddler sized toothbrush and waiting an hour or so after I eat breakfast. And not spending too much time brushing my tongue

Yup this was the only time I threw up in my first tri, my only tips would be to constantly spit I noticed even a drop of the toothpaste made me gag & when brushing your tongue don’t go as far back as you’re used to & go from back to front back to front rather than back & forth if that makes sense. Once I started brushing differently I stopped vomiting.

I had morning sickness bad but now that it’s gone this is the only time I get nauseous now. I have to stop sometimes and try again later to let the feeling pass. I feel like it happens the most right after I wake up so I think it helps to wait a little bit.

nothing like throwing up with a month full of toothpaste. this randomly happens to me once in a while. I don't know why because my morning sickness has gone away. just have an occasional bad day here and there. I wish I knew how to avoid it happening ever.

I’ve thrown up everyday brushing my teeth since 6 weeks.. no fun!🙁 I even tried not mint flavored toothpaste cause my doctor suggested it, didn’t help!

Yes!!!! Something about brushing my teeth makes me throw up too! Its better for me to use a regular toothbrush than an electric. But still end up throwing up sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening.

My partner has asked me to brush my teeth over the toilet because he's squirmish about seeing vomit in the sink everyday 😫😂
