I’m wondering how long did you ladies wait to have sex with your SO after delivery ? 
I gave birth to a healthy baby boy 3 weeks ago and everything went perfect it was a vaginal delivery and no stitches or nothing but they told me to wait 6 weeks with no sex. But we are dying to ....

You’re suppose to wait 6 weeks because there is a huge hole in your uterus from where your placenta was attached that takes roughly that long to heal. If you have sex 1. You are extremely fertile and 2. You run the risk of getting a nasty infection in your uterus that will most likely land you in the hospital. Have anal if you need sex that bad.

We waited 4 weeks. I tore an artery in there during delivery (lost a lot of blood) and tore my labia in half, but I healed really nicely and was ready at week 2 but waited until 4 just to be safe! The only thing that sucked was that my clit felt super bruised for 3 months so I couldn’t orgasm. You will know when your body is ready!

Go slow at it and if it hurts then stop and also get on top you have more control and comfort that way

You have a wound inside you the size of a dinner plate that can get infected. Sure it might turn out fine by why risk it? It’s 3 more weeks.

6 weeks for csections because they want to make sure you healed enough internally. I’ve unfortunately only had csections so Idk if vaginal is different for amount of time to have sex but I would think the reason why it’s important to wait would be the same. Btw it was very hard for us to wait each time to lol

I waited 6 weeks just because I had stitches and they didn't come out until then. I recommend for you to use pretection even if you wait the 6 weeks. I got pregnant the first time we had sex after delivery 🙈

I waited 4.... I know that it wasnt reccommended but we couldnt he lol p ourselves lol. And im perfectly fine...
