Who can relate?

My MS is usually something I can keep on the DL. I work with people everyday who don’t know I have it. But apparently it wanted to celebrate its third anniversary today.

I knew I’ve been pushing too hard. The end of the school year means paperwork coming out my ears. I’ve been staying up until midnight and waking at 5 all week to get it done. I’m stressed, exhausted, and dealing with a teething baby.

I’ll set the scene: I just get finished saying to my principal, “how can my day get any better than that?” I exit to the hall. Either my leg gives out or I don’t clear the ground and drag my foot. I face plant to the side, giving myself a fat lip, goose egg, skinned/ bruised knee, and bruised shoulder. Thankfully no one saw me. I have to go see the school nurse to get an ice pack.

I just wanted to share with people who get how frustrating it is to feel betrayed by your body. Has MS played any mean tricks on you lately?
