Weight Loss Journey

About a year ago I started loosing weight to qualify for weight loss surgery. I have diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and all that helped me qualify for need. I started out at 330 lbs. I did the nutritionist appointments and counseling. I exercised and logged everything. I lost 10 percent of my weight which qualified me for the surgery. But when the UW got my referral they told my doctor they couldn’t take me because they had too many patients waiting for surgery. My insurance wouldn’t pay for me to go anywhere else.
I despaired and was so disappointed. But my doctor is so great. She said I got this far just keep doing what I’m doing and loose the weight without surgery. So I did.
Yesterday I weighed myself and since last summer I have lost from 330 lbs down to 274 lbs. I am really doing it! I just wanted to share that to encourage others. Keep going. Don’t give up. Don’t give up !

April 2018

I don’t know if y’all can tell. But I’m wearing the same shirt in these pictures. I think you can tell it doesn’t stick out as much and hangs more on me in the second picture. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like I can see it.
And even in my face just from the above picture and today. It’s been a month since the one above and was several months for the one before that.

I am gonna try to get a newer May body shot too soon. That way it shows all the body weight loss.
