Hunting and fishing require license, each license for each animal you are hunting and fishing for has a limit to how many you can kill based on the population and condition of those animals in those areas. And there are only so many licenses available. Even areas where you hunt and fish have limits on what and how many you can kill. Hunting and fishing is important for conservation.

I love fishing and hunting. Being able to put food on your own table is a wonderful feeling, and I assure you any animals me or my family have killed had much better lives and deaths than any animal that ends up in your supermarket. So if you will excuse me I'm going to go eat some left over halibut for lunch, and defrost some moose meat for dinner.

Trophy hunting needs to be banned but good ole hunting for food, yes it should be legal.

Yeah. Because people need to eat. Also if you don't allow people to hunt/fish then the populations of those animals explodes, which ends up killing even more of them because there isn't enough food to support them.

As long as it is not solely for sport, absolutely. I can't think of a single reason for it not being legal as long as it isn't negatively affecting the population of the animal in question.

As long as it's not getting so out of hand that we are killing off the species to the point of extinction, I don't have a problem with hunting. Although I prefer the hunters to be killing the animals so they can eat them, not just so they can change their profile pic on facebook and then leave the animal to rot or have it stuffed to hang on their wall 😒
