What's the weirdest things you've been told while pregnant?

My personal favorite was told to me by my dear stepmother who's always saying something weird 😂 after our first ultrasound I called to update her and she tells me "if you eat a lot of meat it makes more testosterone and you'll have a boy, if you eat a lot of tofu it makes estrogen and you'll have a girl... because I only ate tofu and I had two girls" 
When my grandma was pregnant a woman saw her reaching up to get something off of a shelf and told her not to do that because it would strangle the baby. 
What are some off the wall things you've heard about pregnancy?

i was at a baby shower when i was 10weeks pregnant. the aunt of the mother to be came to me and told me that she knows my belly wont get any bigger. i told her that it's still early in my pregnancy and that i think it will show soon enough (i'm very thin, so you can see everything growing very clearly). she answered very fiercly: 'if i say that your belly wont get any bigger you are in no place to question me!'

Before I found out the gender someone I work with told me my face shape hasn’t changed so it’s a boy, and I kid you not 20 minutes later another person told me my face stayed the same so it’s a girl.

I've been told by a few ppl about the reaching thing!  that it'll make the cord go around the babies neck...
I asked my midwife about it and she was so confused lol and started asking me questions about it!

Well my friends mom said she can tell the baby’s gender just by feeling my stomach.. so she did and said it was a boy. Apparently she’s never been wrong, and then we found out we’re having a boy lol. I think it’s a coincidence. But she swears she can tell on anybody lol
