TYING TUBES ?

Have any of you ladies gotten tubes tied, NOT during a C-Section.. But as its own procedure? I just had my third C-Section and was supposed to get my tubes tied but did not sign the paper soon enough. Ridiculous, I know. But now I have to wait, and get it done as a completely separate procedure. I was just curious as to how they numb you, and where do they cut you?? As well as any other tips/advice you may have!
