What did you feel the day you went into labor?

Im 38w & 6d practically 39w already .. I’ve gone to my doctors but every time they check me they tell me they can’t find my cervix Because it’s behind the baby’s head ... it’s extremely painful that I made them stop. They told me they would try again in my next appointment. But for the past 3 weeks they have not been able to tell me if I’m dilated. Ever since my last appointment on Friday I’ve been feeling a lot more cramping , soreness between my legs and in my vagina .. I also feel extremely heavy , & drowsy. I lost all my appetite that I force myself to eat because i know my baby needs food .. it also hurts so much when the baby moves& to go pee. Now my question is has this happened to any of you lovely ladies ?? What were your signs of labor ? What did you feel ? (I just wanna know if anyone went through anything like I am before labor)
