Nerve damage?
I had an epidural when I had my daughter. I wasn’t going to do it at first because I researched the price of them that they typically are, but when I looked at my bill, seems my insurance did a pretty good job at covering it. It’s been two months, 11 Weeks tomorrow, since I’ve had my daughter and my back STILL hurts. It’s just in the spot where they stuck the needle in. My OB said it’s probably muscular because of how close the spaces in your spine are. My anesthesiologist said my back seemed tense when trying to put the needle in..but hellooooo I was having contractions at the same time 😂
I’m starting to wonder if I got nerve damage. When they stuck it in the first time, I felt some tingling on the right side of my spine, like I could feel where the nerves were.
I use bio-freeze to help but can’t take an ibuprofen anymore because I’m pregnant again.
Could it have been nerve damage? I knew it was a possibility that it could happen. No procedure goes without warning of outcomes.
It only hurts if I arch my back or curl my back in. Like bending over or stretching in bed.
Do you think if I got an epidural again for my second child, I’ll make it worse?
