NHS fertility treatment when SO had a child from previous relationship

Hi ladies, I really need your help! I have managed to get an appointment at the hospital for infertility. But I have been reading that we won’t be offered IVF in my area because my boyfriend has a child from a previous relationship (CCG states that is the case).

I have come to terms with that (slowly) but now I am starting to worry that we won’t get any help at all (i.e tests, ultrasounds Clomid etc). Can anyone shed any light on this? Any advise would be very much appreciated! Xx
