Are we behind?!

I see so many of you guys posting pictures of your almost/completely done nurseries and we haven't even started! I'm 29 weeks and we are waiting until after our shower to start. Are we falling behind?! I'm starting to get anxious 😓

Friendly advice I say get started. No harm in putting the crib up or is somebody buying that as a gift? My friend had her son a month early. You don't want to be constructing things after baby comes. I just felt better after crib was up. Big check off the list.

Nope. I'm 29 wks all we did was paint. We took the carpet up so we have to sand and gloss floors. I just ordered my crib today, and won't order the rest of my furniture until mid July. So if you think your behind so am I, but everything will fall into place :)

I haven't done ANYTHING because a week after birth, we are moving to another state. We're even trying to get people to NOT get us any baby items, but instead gift cards for the price of those items and what they wanted to get so we will have less to move. 😪 it's not working out too well though.

I'm 31 weeks and am also waiting until after my showers, honestly newborns don't need a nursery! Still plenty of time to get things in order! :)

I haven't even started. Baby probably won't be in the nursery for at least the first few months anyway..

I'm so behind. I'm 27 weeks and we only paint the room. We have everything but no have time to do the others things 😩

It depends on what you need to do with the room. If you need to paint or clear it out I would do that before the shower and start getting any decor soon. Otherwise you run the risk of not having it done when you are too tired OR have a baby in your arms. So I guess it just depends on how you want it to look when you are done. Your baby won't care either way!

Nah. What Balee said. Baby will prolly be in our room for months. Just gotta put up the crib and wash a few sheets
