What do you think of names ending in hard K sound with last name Krueger — like Nick, Jack, Luke, Jake, Blake, etc. I’m worried there’s too much K sound happening but I really like some of these short names and not their longer versions.

I think it's a little awkward but not terrible. Except Luke... that one's especially hard to say, since it also has the u sound in common, and since Lou is also a name. Luke Krueger / Lou Krueger. Too confusing, in my opinion. Jake has a bit of that second problem too, since Jay can be a name.

My first name ends with and maiden name begins with the same sound. It was awful. Every time I had to say my name, I had to pause between the first and last to make sure they were separated.

Maybe use a longer name. Instead of Nick, use Nicholas and use Nick as a nickname. Or just use a second name with another ending, that’s what my Mom did with my brother.
