Yes, it's totally fine! I've done lots of research, asked on here, and consulted my OB, and it's completely safe. :) You will know when you're uncomfortable and automatically won't be able to do it anymore. I'm overweight and a stomach sleeper, and at around 22 weeks it started to get uncomfortable for me, so I had to adjust my position. Now (at 26 wks) I still sleep on my stomach, but I prop one leg up so that it pushes my weight onto one hip instead of my actual stomach. If I'm turning over during the night now, and accidentally put even a tiny bit too much weight on my stomach it seriously hurts! But it's good though, because it reassures me that if a position was not good, I would certainly know to turn over, lol.
