lovenox help ?!?!

If you had to take lovenox (blood thinne r) shots daily while pregnant Did you have to take them all 9 months or did you get to shot at some point ? I'm 13 wks and I'm so over all these shots it makes me wanna cry but I know the out come will be well worth it !!  Background: I have lupes anticoagulant and antiphospholipid and a genetic disorder called homocysteine basically a clotting disorder and a vitamin deficiency. My son was an easy pregnancy with no issues like this at all. Dr says the trauma from giving birth triggered it all basically. I had 3 miscarriages before the pregnancy also.

I remember having to get one a day after delivering my daughter. I only had 3 in total but just remembering the feeling of them being stuck into my stomach and the burning sensation afterwards makes me cringe. I’m so sorry if you’re having to do this daily throughout your entire pregnancy. ☹️💛

I have 23 injections per week, since 5 weeks. 2 a day heparin, 1 is insulin and twice a week progesterone oil. I do all my own except the progesterone. It sucks but at 28 weeks now, it's routine and doesn't really bother me anymore. Not what I ever expected to have todo, but I know it'll all be worth it in the end.

Currently 23 weeks and I’ve been on lovenox since week 5. I recall feeling frustrated and over the shots about a month or two into it. Now I don’t even notice. It’s like brushing my teeth, just a daily routine I don’t have to even think about any more. Hopefully you’ll get over that hump too and pretty soon you’ll forget they even bothered you. It’s better to have to inject yourself now as a prevention than deal with the seriousness of a blood clot.
