I was making plans before we were even engaged. We started really planning immediately because we wanted a fall wedding and got engaged in December. We didn’t want to wait until the following fall, so we had about 10 months to get everything done.

Over two years 😅 We weren’t in a rush, I knew I didn’t want a traditional wedding anyway. Last year, I realized I would lose my insurance, I said “hey want to get married in two months?” so we did. That’s my love story.

I’m your typical Type A planner person, so I/we did not waste much time. We also have family all over the world and wanted to give them enough time to make travel arrangements. We booked the venue about 2 weeks after getting engaged and everything else fell into place after that. We got married a little under a year after we got engaged 😃
