Wrong gender blood test?

Has anyone gotten the dna blood test to tell the gender early and it be wrong? I read that a lot of people are getting girl early on and it is actually a boy? If so then I might be having a boy.

nope. genetic testing done at or after 10 weeks, has a 99.9% accuracy level as far as sex of the baby goes.
that said, I had mine done at 12 weeks. it said girl, I have an 19 month old daughter now.

Are you referring to SneakPeek or an actual NIPT blood test through your doctor’s office? I’d heard of people having inaccurate results with SneakPeek, which was why I opted for NIPT blood work at my OBGYN’s office. Blood work said it was a girl, and anatomy scan confirmed it! NIPT is supposed to be 99% accurate.

The DNA blood test looks fetal DNA in your blood, and 99% of the time baby will be XX (girl) or XY (boy) and there isn’t any way to mess that up. No Y chromosome means no boy haha
