Daycare teaching habits?

Is that possible with a 5 month old? She’s only there 3 days a week. But whenever she home it’s like she craves attention and will cry until she gets it. There’s 5 other babies in her class and I feel that’s the only way she gets attention. Also All she wants at home is to be held. Is this normal?

I take care of babies at daycare. 
This is all new to her, sharing attention with other babies and yes it might be how she gets attention there because that many babies is insane. I used to be in a class with 8 babies and now I’m with 4. I think anything past 4 is insane because babies require so much attention some more than others. I try to give all my baby’s equal amounts of attention. 
She’s new to having new people care for her. Sometimes I think they do this because they miss their parents, even though she’s only there 3 day of the week.  You and whoever else has cared for her before daycare has been all she’s ever known. It’s such a major change and it’s not surprising to know that something changed at home too. Yes it’s possible 
The rules in my daycare is that i cant let a baby cry. Even if they just want to be picked up, I have to be doing something to soothe them. You can ask that they not pick her up just because she wants it. But i don’t think they can let her cry more than a few minutes. Daycare is weird.
