Does stress make your period anticipate?

I'm a very regular person, I take the pill since I'm 15 so my cycles are regular for the last 18 years now. This last month I had a lot of work stress - we're at festival seasons so that means I went 15 days to France working 15 hours a day , then stopped in Dubai for 5 days working 12 hours a day and then travelling 15 hours to NY where I'm finally getting a bit of a break. Upon arrival in NY I started bleeding as if I was menstruating except 5 days earlier than expected, my pill cycle didn't even end yet. I thought maybe it's caused by my body being a bit stressed with all this travel and effort?
