Miscarriage without bleeding?

I have a question regarding miscarriages.... is it possible to miscarry and not have bleeding or cramping? Thank you for your time.🙏🏽

Yes. I'm currently "11 weeks" but found out at 8.5 weeks that my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. Still no cramping or bleeding, so I'm going to have a D&C; after the weekend. Sometimes your body doesn't accept that the pregnancy is not viable and holds on.

Miscarrying is when you bleed and cramp, the bleeding and cramping is your body’s way of expelling the baby that wasn’t viable. Your body can’t expel that unviable baby without bleeding. It is possible to have what’s called a “missed miscarriage”, though, where the baby’s heart stops beating but your body doesn’t realise and continues on like it’s pregnant, so you don’t have any bleeding. But eventually the body either realises or you find out through ultrasound that the baby’s heart has stopped and you either take pills to start the miscarriage process or you have a d&c.;

Me too. I found out at my 9w US that the baby had stopped growing at 6w. My body still felt pregnant - nausea, sore boobs etc. while I waited on an appointment from the EPU. I had no cramps, pain or bleeding until last Friday (I would have been 10+3) and I started bleeding lightly in the morning. Got really painful cramps mid-morning and 10 minutes later passed everything. Went to the EPU today and they confirmed everything passed. Still less bleeding than a period but today heavier cramps.

Yes, that happened to me. Went in for an ultrasound at 12 weeks and found out baby had died at 7.5 weeks. They called it a missed miscarriage. Ended up with a D&C; since bleeding still hadn’t started a few weeks after the ultrasound and I didn’t want to try the medication option.

Yes. I had a “missed miscarriage” meaning the baby stopped growing but I didn’t miscarry on my own. Only had VERY light spotting the day before my scheduled checkup. I had no idea anything was wrong until there was no heartbeat detected. I actually found out 3 weeks after the baby stopped growing according to the ultrasound. Had to have a d&c; 😢

Its possible. I had no symptoms whatsoever & my blood levels took forever to go back down. I only found out i miscarried because i asked to hear my babys heartbeat in an ultrasound and it was a flatline. 🙁
