Did my husband dream-cheat on me?

Question

Last night, in his sleep, my husband said “it’s our secret” and “I miss your hand on my ***k”
What do I do?? Confront him and give him the chance to open up, or ignore it (it was just a dream)?

Well, you could ask him if it is bothering you as some reassurance is always nice, but it is a dream so don’t get all crazy on him and start accusing him of something more. Maybe approach it quite playfully rather than aggressively.

Just ignore it you don’t know what he was thinking off, my partner says weird shit all the time in his sleep but he’s sleeping for all you know he could be having some freaky ass dream about some fantasy he wants to play with you. You never know.

It was just a dream! He can’t control that. It doesn’t mean anything. I’ve dreamt about flying, being chased by monsters, etc. Doesn’t mean any of that has really happened nor do I want it to happen. Let it go

if you do want to talk to him about it talk about a dream you had first or say you read about this girls dream and it was funny. or even say you say some funny stuff in your sleep and tell him what he said. my husband says some funny stuff in his sleep I always tell him and the other night he had a dream he cheated on me with me lol.

I wouldn’t “confront” him, because it WAS just a dream. But i would probably just bring it up in the morning and see how he reacts, his body language and everything

Fuck that ! If I heard something like that ... I would be in him like white in rice. Handle it delicately but I would not just “let it happen” because I’m assuming he didn’t know what he was saying due to the fact he was asleep. It came out his mouth then he knows. Dreams are your subconscious.

People say weird things in their sleep. Could have been a weird nonsense dream. I wouldn't worry about it. My SO said "the hookers have too many hooks" in his sleep

There is not such thing as thought crimes or “dream-cheating.” Dreams are not real. They are the brain processing, filing, and extrapolating our memories, thoughts, experiences, etc. You know nothing except what you heard. Ask him about it if you like, but don’t do it in a condemning or “I gotcha” kind of way. Just be like “it sounded like you were having an intense dream last night...” or something. Then see where the conversation goes.
