Pants fitting?

So we just started cloth at 15 months. My son wears 18 month clothing and we cannot get any of his onesies or his shorts to fit over the diapers. We have found like 2 pairs that fit, 24 month are way to long. When we’re at home he just runs around with only his diaper which I’m totally cool with cause they are so cute. 
Is this a problem with everyone, and what do you all do during the winter?

We go up to the size that fits over her fluff butt and if they are too long we either roll them up or I ask my mom to hem them for me. We just make it work because cloth is so worth it!! Lol

As far as I am aware, it's a problem we all share. You just learn to buy clothes a little larger than needed. For my son, who is short, that means that he doesn't have a pair of pants that don't need to be rolled up.

I’ve never really had a big issue with pants fitting. We use a lot of stretchy sweatpants and leggings though. Are you trying like actual real pants? We just size up and roll the cuffs for those.

In the summer I’d say it’s totally acceptable for him to just wear a shirt and his cloth diaper!! They’re so cute, why hide them?! 😍

I figured it was a problem with everyone lol. They are so adorable 😘. And he only wears stretchy pants/shorts, his whole life he’s maybe owned 2 pairs of jeans. I can’t stand jeans 🤪, and I’ve passed it on to my 9 year old daughter who refuses to wear them and now my son. 
I’m hoping the next is a girl (shh don’t tell hubby 😆) so it will be “acceptable” for them to be in public with just a dress.

We buy stretchy pants for our daughter or size up so they fit. She’s tiny, so that also helps us manage the pants size.
