TTC OPKS? Preseed?

I have been ttc with my other have for 5 months now and nothing yet. We want this so badly and have been heart broken every month. I know 5 months isn't as long as some of you ladies on here and I am sending prayers and baby dust to all of you 1 month or 1 year into it!!!! Just curious if you guys think opks or preseed or any other things helped you get your BFP!? I know it's different for everyone but I dont want to buy these crazy expensive opks for nothing if they are a waste.

Get a pack of cheap, bulk OPKs from Amazon. Easy@home brand is great. I also highly recommend downloading Fertility Friend and doing the free lessons to learn all about properly tracking and reading BBT charts. It's great to know exactly when and if you are actually ovulating. As for preseed, it's only helpful if you are typically dry and need lube to comfortably have sex. It's just a lube that doesn't hurt sperm like others do. So if that's not an issue, don't waste your money.

OPK for sure help. They narrow down timing. Preseed is just a lube that is safe for ttc. It adds fluid, but if you have good cervical fluid, then it doesn’t do much or anything for you. OPK help to narrow down when you are going to ovulate, and therefore your fertile window. Paired with BBT (basal body temp), you can really pin Point ovulation and make sure you are having sex on the fertile days. Good luck!

Also- remember on average it takes 8-9 cycles for a healthy couple. So just try and be patient, and do what you can to narrow down the window and try each day. 4-5 days leading up to ovulation, ovulation itself and even day after too. Sperm can live 5 days and egg 24 hours. So before ovulation is key.
