Do people search for something ‘more’ because it is natural to do so, or could it be a learned behaviour? Maybe we are mimicking those who searched for answers in the past? Or could it be a sign from God, encouraging us to search for Him?

Is it possible that some of us displace this natural inclination, if it is one, onto obsessing over worldly things? Such as making pop stars, etc. our idols? Or allowing a fixation over fitness, beauty, etc. to consume us? Does science fill the void, if there is one, that we have for a Higher Power?

Bonus: Is it possible to pass through life without a core belief, obsession, purpose, etc.?
