is it bad that im waiting to tell?

I'm 16w and I feel like I should wait to tell my family and his family until we know the gender. I just don't really feel the need to tell them early or at all. but I feel like if I do with then gender then it'll feel easier. I'm 19 so idk how anyone's gonna react and it scares the living shit outta me.

Only announce when you're comfortable so you can enjoy it too! Nothing wrong with waiting.
The only reason I announced was because if I waited any longer my belly would have announced for me lol 😂😂

I wanted to wait, but my big mouth cousin already told everyone in my family and I had my parents and everyone calling me upset cause I didn’t tell them but I had a previous miscarriage and wanted to have this one confirmed before telling anyone but I thought I could trust her anyways I ended up announcing at 9 weeks and 5 days with my first ultrasound because I didn’t think it was fair my family already knew but his didn’t even if we weren’t the one that’s told them

I’m almost 20 weeks and I just told people like, last week or the weeks before. I still haven’t told my parents and I don’t plan on it. They’ll find out eventually. 🤷🏼‍♀️
