I mean u made kids with him right? Thr way i see   it is we all need room to grow and a little coaching in diff aspects of life. My love is very open minded and also loves to please me. If i brough the matter up id come up with a plan to help hom be more engaged. Like asking him to come join us for an hour together for family time or askimg him to come read a book before bed to ease him in. Id also look for a way to include the kids on on his hobbies.

😩 I feel like you always want what you don’t have. My dad is the complete opposite, always says hi, always says good morning and good night and I never responded, to the point where it’s out inside joke. I feel like he now does it ironically just because he knows it annoys me (I’m not a morning person and I don’t say goodnight just because).

My husband is like this, pays little attention to the kids. Comes home from work and shuts bedroom door so no one bugs him. Can't blame him though, his dad was the same way 🤷‍♀️
