Depo shot and getting pregnant

Ok so I was on the depo shot for nine months and was suppose to take a shot in October and decided not to and get off of it. I finally got a real period last month in April, so we tried for a baby.

This month in may I haven’t started a period. I’m now 11 days late and the last time I took a test was on Friday the 25th and it was negative.

I’m new to this so does the depo have anything to go with it? And when should I retest? I was thinking Monday or Friday this coming week.
