steroids at 31 weeks

hi has any one had steroids at 31 weeks.i was bleeding Tuesday and had to stay in hospital but they thort I might be goin into preterm labour but thankfully I didn't.but to be on safe side i had to have steroids.so I came home yesterday from hospital and this smorning my arms were red like I'd caught the sun.and burning.also I felt sick dizzy and had really bad diahrhea.after havin steroids will my baby still be ok until 40weeks or does it mean I will him him alot sooner.
