Doula?

Question

Anyone hiring a doula for their delivery? This is my 2nd baby and we didn't have one for the first. But I'm thinking things might go smoother with one this time around. Also are they worth having even if you end up with a csection?

I had one with my first and luckily she was free since she was training but seriously best decision I ever made! I also wanted to go completely natural and with her helping me relax I did and wanted to have another one right away, it was such an amazing experience!

I had one with my first and labored for two days before c section. it was amazing! if you plan on laboring at all and can do it... do it!!

All three of my sisters-in-law have used a doula and swear by them!! They all have very different birth stories (one SIL had no pain medications and a super fast water birth delivery and another labored for 76 hrs with an epidural) but they all said a doula was so worth it!! I probably will use one too.

I LOVED my first delivery and I think it’s because I had the perfect doula (
:) (Diane you are amazing).
Don’t know for the C section question though. I had to push for 2h30 and she and my SO made it possible! 
I actually contacted her when we learned we were having our second child, because I wanted to have another great delivery (I don’t know if the expression « you don’t change a wining team » exists in English, but it’s a thing in French :))
And we just found out we are having twins soooo I definitively want my Doula back in there with me :)

Had one for my second and loved it! Too bad I can’t afford one for my third. But I am wiser now and more comfortable on what to do, so I think I will be fine.
