idk what to make of this?

haven't spoken to this guy since January because he didn't reply to me and now months later out of the blue he wants to chat and go on a date. I can completely understand if he went through a loss but why does he want to meet now? why me? we didn't exactly talk for long back in Jan so I'm finding this incredibly fishy. thoughts?

as someone who's been a victim of men on these sites. I found that most are married and looking to chat/phone sex/meet up for actual sex. either get more in for on him (he could be using fake info) or move on. in my experience it was a military man who would use the apps while out at a training location away from the wife.

If he truly lost someone close to him I would understand. I lost my dad after taking care of him and I stopped talking to people. I still am bad about it still with my anxiety and all that so it is hard to say what his intentions are. Talk to him s bit more and feel him out if it seems fishy still block there are plenty of other dudes on there

If you're incredulous of him, don't go on a date. Maybe tell him you're willing to talk more, but that a friendship would need to develop where he can prove he's reliable before a date is on the table. If you don't even think that is worth it, then I'd stop talking to him and move on.
