Do you think couples going to separate vacations is weird?

Boys trip and girls trip. My husband is currently on his annual golf trip with his friends. And I’m leaving for a weekend trip with my sister and a friend. My in laws think it’s weird we go away separately. I think it’s good to miss each other and have your own life as well.

No. My husband goes on an annual fishing tournament and I’ll be going to a girls trip later in June. It’s not weird... as long as you’re not doing those kinds of things every weekend, I think once in a while is definitely needed. You take a break from each other, do something individually and come back to each other refreshed and missing one another

No!! I love my husband and we go places together. Just got back from Maui. It’s good to get away though. I took my step daughter to Disneyland without him in November and went on a girls trip to New Mexico in February. He went camping last weekend with his boys. I’m not a package deal 100% of the time. I’m still me and need time alone with my friends, family and step kids.

No. I think it's healthy to have things you do with friends and family without each other. Most of the couples I know who spend all their time together end up resenting each other.

No, I don’t think it’s weird. My husband only gets 2 weeks off a year though! Those need to be dedicated to a family trip in my opinion. If he wants to go do weekend trips with friends, that’s fine!

I don't think it's weird...it's not for me, but if it works for you that's all that really matters. 
I can't imagine not going on vacation with my husband but we enjoy the same things. If he wanted to go golfing while on vacation I don't know if I'd be joining him lol

No, ever since having my son it seems like we always take separate mini vacations because someone has to stay home with the toddler! As long as you guys are fine with it who cares.
