Recurring yeast infections & BV

So around August of last year I got a yeast infection. I went to the pharmacy, used the creams and thought I was okay but none of the otc creams cured me, they just made the itching go away. I went to the doctor and she prescribed diflucan. Worked for a week and then the infection came back. She prescribed a cream and it didn’t work either. I’ve been going over the course of this past year over and over to cure this infection and finally boric acid worked but then I got BV. My issue is, every time I go back to the doctor for BV, literally the day right before, it’s a yeast infection again so I just keep getting treated for the same. Damn. Thing. Even though I know it’s more than that.

Any clue why this might be happening or anyone who has any tips for curing all this?? It’s been a rough year and I’m just trynna go back to normal 🤧
