So I was scheduled to be induced on the 29th due to baby measuring 2.5 weeks ahead(thought she would be a big baby) and Blood pressure... so I go in at 12:00 AM and start the induction... they inserted a tablet next to my cervix where I have to wait for 2 hours before I can get up to pee... worse thing ever trying to hold it in BTW. I was already 1 cm dilated and 30 % effaced going in... after doing 2 tablets I was at maybe a 2... by this time it was already 5:30 AM. Dr decided to start Pitocin to see if we can get it going.. was on Pitocin and having pressure so I requested the Epidural because I wanted to feel nothing... was already having contractions but still wasn’t dilating... by 2:00 I hadn’t progressed at all. They stopped the pitocin and did another Tablet. It was 4:30 and and I was a 3-4 and they started Pitocin again... well the babies heart rate kept dipping so I had to turn from side to side to get it to stop.. also I started to run low grade fever... contractions were there but baby girl was not descending into the Birth Canal... it’s 7 PM now... they had told me at my 37 week Ultrasound by 39 weeks she may be close to 9 lbs 😳 Dr came in and told me we were doing a C-Section. No progression and on top of everything else didn’t look good for baby and me... so in C-Section room I heard her cry for the first time at 7:53 PM! Kamila Iris was born weighing 7 lbs exactly! 19.25 inches long! Hey
