Announcing to TTC friend

Background: my friend has been ttc for 10 years and is on her last round of ivf. I had my son (happy surprise) 4 years ago and broke the news to her via a letter. She was happy for me but I know it must have hurt.

I told her a couple months ago we were going to ttc baby 2 and here I am 11 weeks pregnant:) any advice on how to tell her?

I wanted to do it in person but my belly has already popped and I don’t want to just show up for our next lunch date visibly pregnant, I would prefer to give her some notice so that she can have her honest reaction in private. Should I call or text her the news or just wait until we meet?

What do you guys think? Am I overthinking this?
