My husband has a “ friend” who hates me for whatever reason. She decided that before she met me, she didn’t like me. Keep in mind my husband and I are 20 & 22 and she is 31. They’ve been “friends” for about 3 years.

She told me the first time she met me that she had to make sure I wasn’t crazy, so my husband could date me. My husband doesn’t even talk to her, and finds her annoying, but his family loves her and her family. My MIL knows I don’t care for her, as I’ve reached out to try to be friends with her and every time she says something hateful.

Well my husband’s aunt is throwing me a baby shower and my MIL asked me if she could invite her and her family. I said yes, cause I didn’t want to cause anything, but I’m completely dreading seeing them. She has this weird fascination with my husband, and it makes me uncomfortable. I know he doesn’t like her, but it’s hard when his entire family does. She will ask my husband to “hang out” but not include me... just her and her fiancé, and my husband. He always comes up with an excuse, but I’m just ranting because my shower is this weekend and I don’t want to see her. She hates me for no reason and thinks she knows my husband better than I do. Being around her makes me uncomfortable but I knew when my MIL asked, it wasn’t a question, it was more of her telling me. “Hey I invited so and so to your shower, that ok?” 😞
