Pregnancy with periods???

Question

Okay okay y'all 
I keep seeing posts about people who claim to have periods MONTHS into their pregnancy. 
I was told growing up and even now that no period = no baby. 
Soooo what does this mean?! Should I even trust my own period? Or are periods with pregnancy a bit different?

It’s incredibly rare to bleed during pregnancy. It’s not technically a period. I wouldn’t ever assume you’re pregnant if you’re getting your period.

pregnancy "periods" are actually just bleeding throughout a pregnancy, most women call it a period although it isn't because it's completely different from an actual period. if you have clots/uterine lining that's your period. but if your bleeding during your pregnancy, resembles a period, something is wrong.

with my second pregnancy I had my period for the the entire time I only 4 months when I had miscarriage got my period when my period was supposed to come it wasn't as heavy so it's probably more of a normal. For most people

It's extremely rare for women to have periods when pregnant. some women have bleeding that's consistent like a period, but it's not their period.
