Soulmate? Advice?

So I’ve been in love with this guy since I was a freshman in high school. I’d go to the ends of the earth for him(met him when I was about 13-14 and now am 19 going on 20). Our relationship is and has always been so strong because we’re genuine friends, we’ve been through some shit together. I’m confused by him because we’ve never dated but both love each other VERY MUCH, we can go months/years without speaking and always snap back like we saw each other yesterday when we finally get together. I’ve seen other guys throughout his and I “situationship” and he’s seen other girls but I don’t mind because I don’t know why I feel like he’s at some point meant for me? I can like other guys but there’s something about him that’ll always pull me too him. We agreed to work on ourselves and when we’re ready we’ll have a strong and healthy relationship. We’re in our early 20s and in college so i think that’s best. We’ve never had sex, our relationship is strictly based on the bond.. do we have multiple soulmates in our lifetime? Has anyone else experienced this? How’d you handle it?
