Gastritis?

Question

Anyone have this and experience vomitting up foods constantly? Can't even enjoy a meal anymore!!  Also doctor sent out a tissue sample for review due to the issues I'm having. I forget the code for it but there was things found. So I don't know what to expect and how they will treat this.

Absolutely! I have to eat very small amounts and not eat 3-4 hours before bedtime. Never eat till you are full! No greasy, fried, spicy or dairy. Almond and coconut milks have really started working for me.

Yes. I have chronic gastritis, and diverticulitis. It’s scary to deal with, and it sucks! I also have chronic pain due to a back injury, and genetics. Because if the gastritis though I can’t take any NSAIDS at all for the pain. It sucks! I keep away from anything acidic, anything carbonated, anything hard on my stomach at all! I take Pepcid every day, and papaya enzyme after every meal. I also eat smaller meals. Anything that is considered hard on your stomach stay away from! Carafate is fantastic to have on hand. I’d ask for your doctor to prescribe you some. As soon as I start feeling the signs of gastritis I start taking my carafate, and it goes away. Before I had it on hand I was going to the doctor every month with the vomiting etc. I still have to go in when I have diverticulitis because that can be extremely dangerous, but gastritis is a little easier managed. It will get better.
