Round ligament pain?

It’s my first child and the pain was so bad it woke me from my sleep. When the pain wouldn’t stop 20 mins later, I went to the hospital. Hours later they said it’s round ligament pain and gave me tylenol. The tylenol helped but it’s been 11 hours and I still have pain.   Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

Yes I had it for almost 24 hours straight, excruciating gripping pain. Hospital couldn’t find cause, assumed RLP. I went to my regular OB the next day and she said that most people get it for a minute at a time here and there and some people get it really severely. I used a heating pad on my back and sides only on low and took Tylenol regularly for two days and it went away. Hasn’t returned to that severity since and that was about 6 weeks ago.

My doctor prescribed anti-spastic medication for when it's really bad. It works wonders!

Do they feel like really bad period pain and sometimes just sharp pain on either side?? Ive been having these since yesterday 😩😩😩 currently 18 weeks and 2 days i dont remember with my first to feel this 😭??

Doesn't bring me to tears, but definitely painful enough that I couldn't vote "tolerable". I get them where it hurts enough that I have to stop walking, or cannot focus on anything else.  They've also woken me up before.
