How fast after getting your membrane stripped can you go into labor?

I’m 39+1 doc checked me today and said I’m about 3 1/2 - 4 cm dilated. Stripped my membrane around 9:45 AM. I currently feel little cramps, kinda like period cramps, but nothing too bad yet.. still tolerable.

I had my membranes stripped at 39 weeks and I was 3.5cn dilated. I started having “cramps” on the way home from the doctor. It turns out the cramps I was feeling were contractions and I had my son 12 hours later. My entire labor my contractions just felt like period cramps.

It did absolutely nothing for me when i got it just had lil period cramps that day and that was it

I had cramps when I got mine stripped last week. But nothing. I’m 40 weeks as of tomorrow and nothing has happened yet :/ not trying to be negative! It just works for some but not for all! Hopefully you are some of the lucky ones. It didn’t help me at all
