When to take clomid?

How have your doctors determined on what CD to take the clomid? 
I just took my first round last week but I keep reading different CDs. Just curious. Thank you.

It’s just the doctors preference. I don’t think one has a higher success rate than the other. I’ve done 5-9 and 2-12. I’ve heard of 4-8 also.

So do you actually ovulate those days on clomid only or does a lady ovulate as scheduled according to the calendar? 
I just took my first round last week. So many questions 🙇🏽‍♀️

I did my first round of clomid this cycle days 4 to 8 on 50mg. In the dreaded tww now

It just depends on your doctor. I take mine day 3 to 7 some do 5 to 9.
