Did anyone else pass blood clots with a subchorionic hemorrhage during pregnancy?

I'm 11 weeks 2 days pregnant and have had two small subchorionic hemorrhages about 1 centimeter in size since I was 7 weeks. On Saturday I started to have bleeding again with a small clot and have had bleeding since. It's been like a medium brown color with a hint of red to it. I just went and peed a few minutes ago and passed another clot like the size of a penny and it was almost like a black color. The nurse keeps telling me that passing clots is normal with a subchorionic hemorrhage and everything will be fine but it's just so scary to see. My cervix is closed and they said it's nice and long, baby is great. I don't understand how them clot things come out of your cervix is closed. Its weird to me. Has anyone else passed clots with theirs?
