I need some help!!! PLEASE!!!

Jenny

So I’m actually straight, but I have recently found out my cousin is in the process of changing from FtoM. I have some questions that I would like help with before I see her for the first time in a few years.

So tomorrow is my cousin’s wedding. And my transgender cousin will be there tomorrow. I’ve always known her to be a girl by the name of Lexi. She’s been taking testosterone pills and is getting a double mesectomy in August. She wants to go by Alexander. As I don’t know much, but I want to support her and help her feel love and not like she doesn’t belong in the family. Do I call her Alexander, and use masculine pronouns. Or continue to call her what I have her whole life? I honestly want to be respectful during this hard transition. How can I be the best support? Thank you in advanced for ANY advice you have!!!
