Early miscarriage rh-

I started bleeding Friday at 5 weeks 2 days. I miscarried and went to the doctor yesterday. They checked my HCG level and it is down to a 2. I didn’t even think about asking about a rhogam shot. They called today with the results of my blood test and I asked. She said I need to come back today and get a rhogam shot.

I just read that I should have had it within 72 hours. I’m still bleeding like I am on my period. Do you think I am still within the 72 hour window? I am terrified this will added future pregnancies. My husband and I want a baby.

I will ask all of this at the doctors office as well, just wondering if anyone has any experience.
