Is my relationship over?

Hi Glow Friends, i’m having a situation that i would love to hear your opinion on. I’ve been into a relationship for 4 years & the 4 year mark would’ve been in July. So the guy of 4 years text me early sunday morning and 3 am starting he doesn’t want the relationship anymore and he’s unhappy. I wrote him back really calmly and basically told him that the situation makes me angry because it’s totally out of left field. He didn’t text me back for 2 days and then i reached out to him and Facetimed him to talk about the situation. My opinion on the whole situation is that he states he’s felt that way since February and he didn’t say anything or show any signs of not wanting to be around. I feel so played and on his end it was a selfish move because i’ve continually grew more emotionally attached to you and you pulled this on me when i feel like our relationship was fine. He says he just wants space to figure out what to do. What should I do?
