BC gynecologist experience

Hello dear menstruating humans, I've just decided to get off the pill because the 5 months of taking it I've experienced an incredible array of health issues, which I'm sure are most likely not all related to it, but I'm at a point where I'm willing to try anything that could make me feel better. So I went to my gynecologist with the intention of getting a diaphragm (gonna use it with FAM, condoms, plan B if one breaks and pull-out during fertile days) and got the Caya, but I was honestly surprised how dismissive and bossy my gynecologist was being. like, she almost yelled at me that I have to be on hormonal birth control and seeming to care more about my acne not clearing up than all the things I was describing to her. Is that a normal experience? She also without asking me pushed really rough agains the side of my vagina, unfriendlily asking if it hurts (because I have a cyst there). I mean, I see how that is medically necessary but I really would have liked a bit more consideration in such a vulnerable position. Did any of you ever have a doc?tor try to force a certain bc on you?

Side effects were:

- One month of straight bleeding

- at beginning: bleeding, pain urinating and extreme pain during and after sex

- Painfull and irregular periods ( first not at all, second late and very painful, third almost a week early, fourth right on schedule)

- Headaches

- Stomachaches strong enough to put me in the hospital with an appendicitis scare

- Aching arms and legs every day

- Moodswings and stress (also me freaking out about the pill)

- Been quite depressed recently (suicidal thought included, which I've started to get help for)

- Extremely emotional

- Nausea
