Dying hair while pregnant?

So I hear a lot of people saying you shouldn’t dye your hair while pregnant? Does anyone follow that or is it just a myth? Thank you!

I agree with everyone in saying that it's safe.. The "not safe" part is totally a myth. BUT, don't be surprised if your hair doesn't come out the color you want: With your hormones being all whacked our during pregnancy, it can cause your hair to not take the dye correctly.

They recommend you don’t dye your hair where there isn’t good ventilation, like home bathroom and such. The chemicals aren’t good to breath in.

Everyone told me not to dye my hair, I was about 8 weeks pregnant and I dyed my hair. You can dye, bleach whatever to your hair as long as your in a well ventilated area. Im also not far off 38 weeks and my baby is healthy!

I’m 35 weeks and have dyed my hair my entire pregnancy. I dyed it with my first too and he’s 2.5 and healthy
