Anyone else planning on getting a car seat for each car

I want to get the Graco forever. Those don’t have a base that you can take the seat in and out of the car. They are meant to stay in the car once installed.

If we shared a car seat and it was in my husband’s car, I can already see him driving off to work and not taking out the car seat, and then I would be stuck at home unable to go anywhere because he would have the car seat. I love my husband, but I also know how forgetful he is. We had to switch from using a key for the house to a pin pad because he constantly locked himself out of the house. He loses his phone every day. Thank goodness for find my iPhone! I know he will drive off with the car seat. I just know it.

He has already agreed that this will happen, and two car seats would be best. Just wondering if anyone else is doing the same, or I am just paranoid and over preparing?
