Activities for 8 year old girls

So I just started dating this guy who has an 8 year old daughter and he gets her during the summer. I’m lowkey nervous because I really want her to like me and feel comfortable around me, and 8 is that age where they aren’t little anymore and are becoming more independent so I was wondering if anyone had ideas on fun things to do with 8 year olds. I already told him I can take her to get our nails done and go to the zoo and little things like that but does anyone have anymore ideas? Btw I’m very girly myself I love makeup, shopping, etc. and from what he tells me, so does she.
