Hey so I’ve had a boyfriend for 3 years he just left me and before him I’d been beaten up by 3 different men and mentally abused  and never had a normal boyfriend like him so I’m just terrified about what’s next who I’m going to meet I’m terrified of who’s next

you should take some time to yourself and fall in love with you again. once you love yourself then open back up for a relationship. maybe you should post this in another group for help.

I was in a similar situation as you, I had a boyfriend of 3 years who abused me physically and emotionally then he cheated and left me for the girl he cheated on me with so I had the mindset of I don't want another man like that then I met someone else for a couple of months and he started doing the same so I decided to jjst give guys a break considering they were all just turning out to be the same but now after learning to love myself and know what I want, I have found my lovely boyfriend who I've been with for 8 months( not long) but I never thought I'd be able to love someone as much as him! You will get there eventually. Happiness isnt about finding the right man, you need to love yourself fully first and I saw a post about you being in an accident too.. Get yourself back to full health, then slowly go out with friends, take up hobbies and enjoy your life without any men for a while until a nice one comes along and that point, you'll know if he's the right one for you. Get better soon babe! X
