Cryptic Pregnancy?

Have you had a cryptic pregnancy? 
What were your symptoms?
How did you find out? 
How long did you go before you got BFP?

Answer

I had a friend not know she was pregnant until delivery - she never suspected she could be due to PCOS and was quite overweight so didn’t notice any growth. However, the negative ultrasound and blood test with a gestational period of significantly over a year I believe is the result of mental illness or someone wanting so badly to have a child. I do believe some women are not pregnant for a year or two and convince themselves that they are, only to fall pregnant for real during the time of  this extended “cryptic pregnancy” and be absolutely convinced they were pregnant the whole time.

What is your definition of cryptic pregnancy? Is it the no positive tests (urine and blood), negative ultrasounds, longer than 40 weeks “pregnancy”? Or just not knowing you’re pregnant until delivery?
